Ramsbottom C.C. Junior Foundation is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of all its members.  The club believes that it is important that members, coaches, team managers, administrators and parents associated with the club should, at all times, show respect and understanding for the safety and welfare of others.  Therefore, members are encouraged to be open at all times and to share any concerns or complaints that they may have about any aspect of the club with either their age group team manager, Player Development Manager or Club Welfare Officers. 

As a member of the Junior Foundation you are expected to abide by the following junior club rules: 

·                     All members must show respect to all other members, coaches, team managers, administrators and parents. 

·                     All members must play within the rules and respect officials and their decisions. 

·                     All members must respect opponents. 

·                     All members should, at all times, act in an appropriate manner to ensure that the good reputation of Ramsbottom CC Junior Foundation is maintained, when representing the club. 

·                     All members should keep to agreed timings for training and competitions or inform their coach or team   manager if they are going to be late/absent. 

·                     All members must wear suitable kit for training and match sessions, as agreed with the coach/team manager:- 

      Training:-

-           Track suit or shorts and top (preferably white or the Ramsbottom CC Junior Foundation green training top)

-                      Spiked or rubber studded cricket boots on grassed playing areas (compulsory for age groups over U-11s for health and safety reasons);

-                      Rubber studded boots or trainers on all-weather surfaces

-                      Correctly fitted helmet

-                      Box (for boys)

-                      Pads and gloves

Matches:-

-                               White trousers

-                      White shirt

-                      White sweater (in cold conditions)

-                      Cricket boots (we appreciate there may be difficulties here regarding availability but ask parents to make every effort to comply – correct footwear is an important factor in helping to avoid injury to young players)

-                      Correctly fitted helmet

-                      Box (for boys)

-                      Pads and gloves 

·                     Any fees for membership or events must be paid promptly/by the due date.  Failure to do so will lead to the member being ineligible to attend training sessions and play in matches. 

·                     All members are not allowed to smoke on club premises or whilst representing the club at competitions. 

·                     All members are not allowed to consume alcohol or drugs of any kind on the club premises or whilst representing the club.
