Deal Agreed With New Pro
Ramsbottom CC can confirm today that a contract as been agreed with an Australian to become our pro for the rest of the season. Alex Doolan of Tasmania is the player in question. But it must be stressed that a signed contract has not yet been received.  It is our policy at Acre Bottom not to release a name without a signed contract, we believe this is the right way to do business. But unfortunately the Rossendale Free Press refused our request not to name him until a signed contract had arrived.

The 24 year old is a right hand bat with a current first class average of 32.16 from 24 innings scoring 772 runs with a highest score of 135. Alex does not bowl at first class level.........(profile)
